When Wilson's wife passes away due to cancer, he is left to care for his teenage son Patrick, who has autism. Patrick was extremely dependent on his mother and now struggles to express his emotions without her. As this father and son try to come to terms with their loss and move forward with their lives, the emotional and physical pressures they face threaten to overwhelm them.
